Black Shadow is a young wolf with a black and gray pelt,two white marks above his eyes, and one yellow and one blue eye. He generally has a straightforward personality. He believes in the pack laws first, which can make him seem cold and uncaring. However, Black Shadow has a soft side seen only by a few. He has a history with both Catori and Twyla, and as a result fathered both of their pups. To regain favor in the packs' eyes, he largely ignores his children and mates, and tries to live down the past.

Catori is a pure white she-wolf with clear blue eyes and is regarded by most as pretty. She has an immense capacity for compassion and unconditional love, making her a good mother and a good companion for the weak and hurting. She is, however, physically weak and easily hurt, making her not typical choice for an Alpha... or the mate of one. Even so, Catori fell in love with and mothered the pups of the Alpha Male- Black Shadow, all of which died at birth except for(???) Shiver, whom Catori now shares and inexplicable bond with. Unable to live up to the expectation of being the Alpha female, Catori had to leave her love for Black Shadow behind and now functions as the pack Shaman.

Shiver is a white and grey she wolf with yellow eyes inherited from her father. Shiver inherited her mother strong sense of compassion for those she is close to and loves jealously. However, she is stronger than her mother, with more power of character to protect those she cares for as well as herself. With most wolves she is relatively distant and almost cold, but not unkindly so. She shares an uncommonly strong bond with her mother.

Raven is a black and gray she wolf who takes after her father in appearance. She has sharp green eyes. Raven is level headed and thoughtful; when she gets an idea in her head she sticks to it fiercely. Due to Twyla's manipulative personality and Black Shadow's lack of attention, she's come to resent her parents.
